LION CUBS Nursery opens at Regents International School Pattaya for children from one year old

A new start for our youngest learners
From August 2026, Regents International School Pattaya will welcome children from the age of one into its new Lion Cubs Nursery, giving families the opportunity to begin their child's educational journey earlier than ever before.
The new provision has been created in response to growing demand from parents who want a nurturing, high quality early years environment that combines expert care with purposeful learning. Children can join as soon as they turn one, with mid-year admissions available subject to places being available.
To support the busy family life, Lion Cubs Nursery also offers greater flexibility with an extended school day from 7:30 am until 5:30pm, alongside dedicated Early Years Holiday Camps during school breaks.
A nurturing environment built around early childhood development
The first years of life are a time of rapid growth, curiosity and discovery. At Regents, every aspect of the Lion Cubs Nursery has been designed to support children's wellbeing, confidence and development in a safe, caring environment.
The programme follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, which provides a recognised framework for children's learning and development from birth to five years of age. Experiences are carefully adapted to meet the needs of each child, with learning guided by play, exploration and meaningful interactions.
Experienced Early Years specialist teachers lead the programme, supported by additional staff and lower staff-to-child ratios where needed. This helps ensure every child receives the individual attention, reassurance and encouragement they need as they settle into school life.
Learning through play with expert guidance
Young children learn best when they feel secure, valued and encouraged to explore. At Regents Lion Cubs Nursery, carefully planned play experiences help children develop communication, physical skills, independence and early social confidence.
Teachers observe each child's progress and plan activities that reflect their individual stage of development. This personalised approach allows children to build strong foundations while developing a genuine enjoyment of learning from an early age.
For many parents, one important question is whether children this young are ready for school. At Regents, the environment is designed specifically for one and two-year-olds, with routines, activities and care tailored to their developmental needs.
Supporting families from the very beginning
The launch of Lion Cubs Nursery strengthens the school's Early Years pathway, making it easier for families to enjoy a consistent educational experience from infancy through to the later years of school.
Families who regularly attend the school's Little Lions programme will also benefit from a simplified admissions process, as children in the programme will not be required to complete the usual admissions assessment before joining Regents.
By offering expert Early Years education alongside flexible childcare options, Regents continues to support both local families and international parents looking for a trusted start to their child's education.
Applications for Regents Lion Cubs Nursery are now open for August 2026 entry. Spaces are limited.
